DHS Club, Inc. Declares Zero Tolerance Of Spam

Englewood, FL -- April 11, 2002 –The Discount Home Shoppers’ Club, Inc., a Florida based internet shopping cooperative, announced on Friday, April 5, a Zero Tolerance Spam Policy as well as a new standard of enforcement of this policy.

In addition to their newly strengthened Spam Policy (http://www.clubshop.com/spampolicy.html), the DHS Club has instituted a full double opt-in process for all free membership requests. This method will ensure that no one is registered as a DHS Club Member without providing authorization or approval by confirming their membership request.

According to Club Founder & CEO, Dick Burke, “We are determined to stop Spam! In his monthly communication to the DHS Club Membership, Burke announced that the DHS Club has begun an intense investigation into their membership buying leads which were generated by unsolicited bulk email to eliminate the use of this practice. An email was sent to the DHS Club Membership on Friday, April 5, advising them of this investigation and referring them to Burke's monthly communication, Top View, at http://www.dhs-club.com/topview.html .
