The Retreat at Ducks' Nest Lake in the Tennessee Blue Ridge
Mountains is owned by Dick and Pat Burke. This Tennessee Mountain Retreat represents the culmination of a
dream come true for Dick and Pat.
As the founder and CEO of The DHS Club, Dick dreams of having
corporate retreats all over the world to be enjoyed by his
family, staff and DHS Club sales directors. His wife, Pat,
started the
DHS Club Kids, a charitable organization meeting the needs
of children, especially orphans, in feeding, clothing, housing,
and education.
Dick created his first retreat so people could come together
for training, fellowship to bring new ideas and to work
together in creating lasting friendships that would stretch
worldwide.

In 2007, after completing the Lake View Log Cabin, the Conference
Center Lodge and mountain top deck, Dick and Pat have decided to
open the Tennessee Mountain Retreat's two lake view cabins and conference
center lodge to be enjoyed by their family, DHS Club staff Members,
DHS Club sales directors and cabin rental visitors.
The Retreat at Ducks' Nest Lake in the Tennessee Blue Ridge Mountains
is their first retreat location in fulfilling their dream. Dick
and Pat plan on creating more lake view rental cabins and a luxury
log cabin at the top of the Tennessee retreat mountain in the near
future.
